Probably the best advice one could give regarding a bucket list, is to try to accomplish the things on it long before they no longer appeal to you. For example, years ago skydiving was on my bucket list. Not so much anymore. I could really care less about doing that. However, the things I already accomplished like bungee jumping, I wouldn't take back for the world, even though I have no desire to ever do anything like that again. What once was things like Climb Mount Everest, hike the Appalachian Trail and canoe in exotic countries is now in comparison quite boring.
1. Retire Before 50
2. Move to New Orleans
3. Travel to Scotland, Germany, Italy and France
4. Attend a Proper Mardi Gras Krewe Gala
5. See my son graduate college
Oh, and let's not forget the big one coming up... In a few days for this monumental birthday that I mentioned, I will be checking off a good one. I plan on playing the piano at Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Happy 40th to me!
