I know it's probably politically incorrect to say, but I'm thankful for Black Friday. I love the sales, I love the bustling crowds and I love that feeling of accomplishment when I finish Christmas shopping early.
Unfortunately, this year I have some sort of cold / flu / plague and I'm at best 50% of the normal me. However, I'm betting 50% of my norm is still more insane than most at 100%. In a couple hours I am going to throw on some jogging pants, hair in a ponytail and get out there and buy that thing I can't mention because my son might read this blog. Sure I may very well collapse before I even make it to my garage, but that's what holiday shopping is all about. Killing yourself trying not to go into debt for ridiculous things that makes our children not appreciate the simple things in life. Fellow shoppers watch out... The hubs doesn't call be "elbows" for nothing.
