This site I have found - www.earthcam.com is amazing. The days like today when it looks like white death outside, I travel to my favorite place on Earth, New Orleans. People are walking around in short sleeves, and you can hear music in the background. I just sip on my (unfortunately non-chicory) coffee and pretend to be sitting on one of those balconies overlooking the streets of the Quarter.
Sometimes I mix it up and head on over across the pond to Dublin. Ireland is a nice trip. I think I'd really enjoy a vacation there someday by the looks of it.
Scotland has always been on the list, there's even a cam there that allows you to hunt for the Loch Ness monster.
There are tons of choices, but the absolute best... that's back in NOLA. The Cat's Meow has a webcam inside. You can watch people karaoke... usually horribly. It's like a trainwreck you can't turn away from, especially late in the evenings when they're really drunk.
