Having found what she loved to do at an early age, she continued to write down her stories and any poetry that came into her head. She had stacks upon stacks of notebooks filled with her work. Her love of horror movies made her stories that much more chilling.
When she’s not writing, she’s listening to music, supporting her favorite adopted brother and his band “Traveler in Pain”, playing with her five children, spending time with her husband of seven years or watching horror movies in the middle of the night just for the scare factor.
Wiccan Lies was released March 18th, 2014

Tell me about yourself.
I’m a 36 year old wife. I mother of five children; a 11 year old son, 9 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter and 4 year old twin girls
How long have you been writing? Since I was about 10 years old
What’s your story about? A woman who is on a journey of self-discovery after finding a letter from her mother in the attic of her childhood home.
What genre would you consider your book?
Horror/Occult/Mythology/Fairy Tales (that’s what Amazon has put it under anyway)
What inspired you to write your book?
I wanted to give some true insight into the Wiccan religion
How did you come up with the title?
My foster sister, Carol Lemons, is actually the one who came up with the title J
Tell me about your writing process?
I jot down ideas that pop into my head, sometimes that leads to the blurb (synopsis), sometimes it doesn’t, then I do research into the mythology of the piece (depends on what I’m writing about). I try to write about things that most people haven’t touched. Then I just wait for the character(s) to talk to me. Once they have made their voice louder than the others yammering in my head I begin to flesh out their story
Are you a full-time writer?
No though I wish I was. I have a day job that takes me away from what I love to do.
What do you do when you get writer’s block?
I burn some rosemary incense, read a book or play a video game (more likely than not, World of Warcraft). More often I color pictures that I find on the internet for my mobsters
Do you outline and plot your book as you’re writing or does it go where it goes?
Usually it just goes where it goes. I have tried the outlining of the plot and where I want it to go and have found that when I write off an outline it tends to come across as more of a dictation.
Are there any new authors that have grabbed your interest?
YES! Nathan Squiers, Megan J. Parker, Willow Cross, Cat Miller….There are so many
Are you self published or traditionally published? Do you wish you had gone about the process differently?
I go through an Independent Publishing Company, Tiger Dynasty Publishing. There really isn’t anything I would do differently, though I am brushing up on my query letters. I’m hoping (as I’m sure all self-published authors and authors that go through Indie Publishing Companies do) that a traditional publishing house will discover me
What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
Keep writing. Don’t give up! And don’t listen to people when they tell you that you can’t do it. Remember that you can do anything you set your mind too
If you could have dinner with any person dead or alive who would it be?
When you aren’t writing, what do you do for fun?
You can find me reading (authors like the above named self- or indie-published) as well as authors such as Karen Marie Moning, JR Ward, Laurell K Hamilton, Kim Harrison. Just to name a few
What's your biggest fear? That I won’t have enough time to get all of my worlds down on paper
Who is the most annoying character you've ever encountered in a book, on tv or in a movie? Doby from Harry Potter
If you were on death row, what would you choose for a final meal?
Crab legs! And a giant, fully loaded baked potato
What is your biggest pet peeve? That is something I would have to think on because I think it changes everyday lol
If you knew you could get away with anything without consequence, what would you do? Rob a bank. That way I can make sure all my bills are paid and can quit my day job so I can write full time lol
What is your biggest regret in life? That I didn’t trust in my writing talent sooner
If you had Doctor Who's TARDIS, what time would you travel to? The time of King Henry the 8th
Why? Because I have always wanted to meet all of his wives but I have always fancied myself a bit like Anne Boleyn
What is the best present you ever received? My husband always gets me the Valentine’s Bears from Wal-Mart. Has been doing that since 2005
What's your secret guilty pleasure movie you don't want to admit you love? Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
If you could say anything to your readers, what would it be?
Thank you for giving me a chance! Without you buying my books and reading them, without you leaving your reviews and thoughts about my work, I wouldn’t be where I am today
Where can we find you?
